Although not an Ibiza, Torremolinhos, Mikonos or Maspalomas, the Algarve assert itself increasingly as LGBT gay friendly destination.
The increasing visibility Algarve tourist destination that has occurred in recent years, has placed the region as a gay-friendly destination emerging and increasingly aroused the curiosity of tourists attracted by the sun, beach, and of course fun.
Still not many spaces for this target audience, but it has been the emergence of several notorious institutions in recent years. Our mission is to promote to the local gay community and the thousands who visit us, all matters of interest in the gay scene in the Algarve region.
Since 2005 serving the LGBT community in the Algarve, the site AlgarveGay has tried to promote and disseminate all good initiatives made in the region in support of the fight against
discrimination and homophobia.
